For over 30 years, we have stood as a pillar of hope in the community, committed to helping women and families navigate both hardships and joys with dignity and compassion.
Our mission is to uplift and empower those facing adversity by providing essential services such as free food, clothing, and rehabilitative support. Whether through our food pantry, clothing donation program, or community outreach efforts, we strive to ensure that no woman or child is left without the care they deserve. At SisterHood Inc., we are more than a nonprofit—we are a family, united in the belief that when we lift each other up, we all rise together.

At SisterHood Inc., we are committed to reducing hunger while promoting dignity and self-sufficiency for women and children in need.
Through our dedicated food pantry services, we strive to provide essential nourishment and support to underserved families in our community.

Since our inception, SisterHood Inc. has distributed over thousands of pounds of food, ensuring that no woman or child goes hungry. Our compassionate team of volunteers works tirelessly to serve over 500 women and families every week, offering meals and groceries made possible through generous community donations and partnerships.

​Through the generous support of our community partners and donors, we receive fresh, nutritious food from Philabundance, Wegmans, ShopRite, Panera Bread, Walmart, and other grocery chains. These partnerships allow us to distribute a variety of food items, including fresh produce, dairy products, proteins, baked goods, and non-perishable pantry staples, to those who need them the most.

We believe that access to food is a fundamental right, and we are dedicated to creating a stronger, healthier community through our ongoing efforts. Whether you are in need of assistance, looking to volunteer, or interested in supporting our mission, we invite you to join us in making a difference.

At SisterHood Inc., we believe that every woman and child deserves access to clean, quality clothing to help maintain dignity, warmth, and self-confidence.
Our Clothing Donation Program is designed to provide free clothing to those in need while fostering a sense of empowerment and self-sufficiency within our community.
How the Program Works
Through generous community donations and partnerships, we collect and distribute clothing items to women and children facing financial hardship. Our dedicated volunteers sort, organize, and distribute these donations to ensure that recipients receive appropriate, gently used, and seasonally relevant clothing.

Who We Serve
Our clothing program supports:
Low-income women and children in need of everyday clothing. Families experiencing homelessness or crisis situations. Individuals transitioning back into the workforce who need professional attire.
How to Donate
We accept donations of new or gently used clothing, including:
Everyday wear (shirts, pants, dresses, coats, shoes, etc.).
Seasonal clothing (winter coats, summer attire, etc.).
Professional and business attire for job seekers.
Infant and children’s clothing.
Donations can be dropped off at our designated locations during operating hours. We also welcome corporate and bulk donations from businesses and community organizations.

How to Receive Assistance
Individuals and families in need can access the Clothing Donation Program through our distribution events or by visiting our facility M-F .

At SisterHood Inc., we are committed to supporting our veterans. We are proud to have an in-house advocate dedicated to assisting veterans in navigating the services and resources available to them. Our advocate provides personalized support to help veterans access benefits, healthcare, and community services.

Emergency Housing:

​SisterHood Inc.'s The Underground program offers confidential emergency housing and comprehensive support services to women and girls escaping abuse and sex trafficking. Our dedicated in-house advocate assists residents in accessing essential resources, ensuring a safe and empowering environment for healing and recovery.
